MEET KRISTO
Kristo Vedenoja is a freelance photographer specializing in architecture and street photography, both in still and video. Based in Helsinki, Finland, what inspires him the most in photography are patterns, colors, and the often-overlooked details hidden in plain sight. With a passion for architecture, he's drawn not only to grand buildings but also to the spaces they create - courtyards, staircases, and the small yet captivating details that make them unique.
"- I'm also a believer in the beauty of everyday surroundings and try to advocate for finding inspiration close to home. You don't always need to travel far to discover remarkable subjects; sometimes the most extraordinary scenes are just around the corner, just waiting to be noticed", Kristo says.
KRISTO'S TOP 3 SIGMA LENSES
ART
24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II
“Great all-arounder! Especially great when walking around the city and when shooting both photo and video. The focal length range is ideal for both, and super fast autofocus means I always get the shots in focus. It's also lighter than its predecessor, which means I can more easily carry it around with me everywhere.”

50mm F1.2 DG DN
“Amazing bokeh, superb sharpness and, not to forget, the small form factor with its bright F1.2 aperture makes this one of my go-to lenses when walking around the city.”
ART
14-24mm F2.8 DG DN
“Superb wide-angle lens for interiors, wider architecture compositions like staircases and atriums. It's great for wider cityscapes and landscape as well when you need to get everything in the frame.”
